Micah and Me

My name is Aaron and I have been performing Dance Parties with my Kindie (kid + Indie) band Micah and Me since 2013. And I have been teaching group ukulele — All Ages Ukulele Parties — since 2014.

I have lead All Ages Ukulele Parties all over the Northwest and beyond including Steamboat Springs Music Festival and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I have had ukulele classes/parties as big as 150 and as few as one person. I absolutely love teaching ukulele!

I have 30 ukuleles. Basically I do high energy ukulele classes (I like to call them parties) that last approximately 60 minutes (most adults can’t go longer than that). No experience necessary. My favorite student is the person who says they only play the radio and that they have no musical talent. I love to get them strumming and singing within a few minutes!

I keep it fun and entertaining with rock n roll endings after each song. Typically the best ages are 10 year old to 105 years old (sorry if you are 106 years old you are out of luck…just kidding…you are welcome too).

I do teach ukulele classes to K-5. I keep things short (about 20 minutes) and very simple. Here is a quick video highlighting my K-3 ukulele classes at Gib Olinger Elementary.
